The 4 Life Stages of Creativity
But First, Here's What We Know:
- Creativity is a cognitive (thinking) process someone uses to produce something original, authentic, and useful, either to find or to solve a problem, or to experience the concept of Flow
- Since creativity is a thinking process (and not some magical skill only people with talent in the arts possess), it can be taught to and learned by anyone, at any age, in any industry
- Creativity is the first step in the innovation process. Creativity is ideation - the generating and honing of ideas. Innovation is the actual execution of said ideas
